Ever wonder how famous Chefs become famous? Ever wonder about the journey they undergo? Ever wonder about the food they cook before their Michelin Star dishes? Well, you’re in luck! In Toronto right now there’s an inspiring Chef that’s breaking some ground rules of learning to cook the “traditional” way. He’s carving his own path to realize his dreams. He’s making one of a kind dishes that transcend “normal.” I had the honour of calling this man my brother, as well as the opportunity to document his pursuit for happiness.
Enter Kevin Le. He started with a dream, and simple enough – the dream is to open a restaurant called Rexfords Foodbar. He experimented with food in his own kitchen, and created some amazing yet comforting dishes. Taking it further, he asked friends for different ingredients to make it a challenge. Everyone chimed in with odd and weird ingredients, but that didn’t stop him from creating – it fuel his passion.
